Newcastle Place announces new Community Life Service Director
Mequon native to head Activities, Fitness and Aquatics Department
Mequon, Wis. – Newcastle Place, a full-service senior living community in Mequon, announced today that Jennifer Sutherland has joined the community as Community Life Service Director.
In her new role, Sutherland will plan, coordinate and direct the wide scope of activities and programming designed to meet the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical and environmental needs of Newcastle Place residents.
“Newcastle Place is excited to welcome Jennifer to our staff,” said Julie Bissonnette, executive director of Newcastle Place. “We’re confident that her years of experience in the Mequon community will be a great asset to our team, and most importantly, the residents who call Newcastle Place home.”

Sutherland, a Mequon native, brings 12 years of experience in a variety of human services roles, where she has gained valuable experience providing specialized service to a variety of individuals, families and organizations. She received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
