Oakcrest Tavern Closes After 10 Years

SHOREWOOD, WI — After ten years, the Oakcrest Tavern in Shorewood has officially closed its doors.

The popular bar restaurant, known for its Thursday trivia nights, Friday fish fry, and as a reliable spot to catch the game, has reportedly been sold to another local operator.

According to an OnMilwaukee report, a sign was posted on the front window of the bar restaurant, stating, "Oakcrest Tavern is closed and being sold to another local operator. We would like to thank each of you for your patronage and for making these past 10 years unforgettable."
