One Dead and Two Injured in Auto Accident; Police Investigate two Shootings

BREAKING: Two men were ejected from a vehicle when the driver lost control and struck a pole. Two men in their 20s were shot overnight.

MILWAUKEE -- One man is dead and two others were injured after a single-vehicle accident on Milwaukee's north side on Saturday night.

According to a report by CBS 58, a vehicle was traveling west on Wisconsin Avenue just before 11 p.m. when the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a pole. Two adult males were ejected from the vehicle and a third adult male remained inside the vehicle.

One of the accident victims died from his injuries despite rescue workers conducting life-saving measures on the man. The two other occupants were taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police Investigating 2 Shootings

Two males, both in their 20s, were transported to area hospitals after suffering gunshot wounds from two separate shootings in Milwaukee overnight.

FOX 6 has learned that the first shooting happened near 42nd and Sheridan around 7:00 p.m. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 26-year-old man suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.

According to police, the victim told police that an unknown suspect fired several shots into his moving vehicle as he was driving through the neighborhood.

Less than three hours, later a 27-year-old man arrived at a different Milwaukee hospital suffering from a gunshot wound from a shooting near 27th and Burleigh.

According to a report from FOX 6, two people were fighting when someone pulled out a gun and began shooting. The victim was struck by the gunfire. He is expected to survive his injuries.
