Owner Refused To Give Up Vehicle At Gunpoint: Report
Police in Shorewood say a suspect fled after a resident refused to give up their vehicle at gunpoint.

SHOREWOOD, WI -- Shorewood police are searching for an armed robbery suspect after a witness said the suspect tried blocking a Shorewood resident's car in their driveway in an attempt to rob the owner at gunpoint.
According to Shorewood police, at just after 7 a.m. a resident on the 4300 block of N. Stowell Ave. was trying to back their vehicle out of their driveway, when they saw a dark green or black older model Toyota sedan pull onto the driveway behind them blocking them in.
The victim told police that a suspect then got out of a rear door of the Toyota and approached the passenger side of the victim's vehicle, opened the door and pointed a semi-auto handgun at the victim, demanding the vehicle.

According to police, the victim refused, and the suspect ran back to the Toyota which was last seen fleeing west on Lake Bluff Blvd.
Police say that the suspect is in his late teens to early 20s, stands about 5-foot-nine, and weighs about 155 pounds. Police say he was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
