SHOREWOOD, WI — Hundreds of students walked out of Shorewood High School and Intermediate School at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14. They came out to honor the 17 lives lost in the school shooting at Parkland, Florida. They also came out to oppose gun violence and to pressure lawmakers to make schools across the U.S. safer for everyone.

Shorewood Patch was there Wednesday morning, and recorded live video of the student gathering. We also took a number of photos that we feel best capture the essence of the rally.
