Police Arrest Glendale Man After Pursuit Through North Shore Communities

SHOREWOOD -- A 25-year-old Glendale man has been arrested after a traffic stop turned into a police pursuit through several North Shore communities.
Whitefish Bay police were called to assist Shorewood Police after a 25 year old Glendale man fled a traffic stop in Shorewood on Aug. 7.
According to the report, the driver, Kamran Mamedov refused to exit the vehicle in Shorewood and fled westbound on Chateau, driving over the curb, onto the lawn in an effort to move around squad cars.

Glendale police pursued and used stop sticks and eveuntually disabled Mamedov's vehicle using a moving vehicle-disabling technique called a PIT maneuver, which ended Mamedov's flight on the 800 block of W. Silver Spring Drive.
He was taken into custody by Glendale Police and turned over to authorities in Shorewood.
Mamedov is expected to face charges of fleeing an officer, resisting arrest.
