Police Identify Three Homicide Victims

Police investigation is ongoing as officers continue to seek a motive and search for suspects.

MILWAUKEE -- Three people are dead after two shootings and a stabbing morning.

Milwaukee Police on Wednesday afternoon identified Tuesday's three homicides victims.

The victims in the Tuesday double homicide in the 4400 block of N. 36th Street are identified as Billy D. Hill 44, and Bennie E. Bennett 25. Hill died from a shooting while Bennett died from a stabbing.

The victim in the August 9 homicide in the 2600 block of N. 50th Street is identified as Dorian C. Crawford 25.

Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide that happened in the 2600 block of N. 50th Street around 7:45 a.m. on August 9. An adult male was shot during circumstances that remain under investigation. The victim was transported to a local hospital by a family member and was pronounced dead. Police investigation is ongoing as officers continue to seek a motive and search for suspects.


Two Killed in August 9 Northwest Side Homicide

Milwaukee Police are currently investigating a double homicide that happened in the 4400 block of N. 36th Street around 3:30 a.m. on August 9. An adult male was shot during circumstances that remain under investigation. He died at the scene. Another adult male was stabbed and transported to a local hospital by an unknown person and died at the hospital. It’s believed at this time that the homicides are related and occurred at the same location. Milwaukee Police investigation is in the very early stages and officers continue to seek a motive and search for suspects.
