Police Investigate Two Shootings Overnight; Find Body in Car at McDonalds in Separate Case
Police investigating McDonald's case as possible drug overdose; are searching for suspects in two shootings over last 24 hours.

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating two shootings - one in which a suspect knocked on the victim's door and shot him, and another in which a man was shot in his car. Police are also investigating a potential drug overdose after a male was discovered deceased in his vehicle outside an area McDonald's.
Body Found
Police and rescue were called to the parking lot of the McDonald's located near Silver Spring Drive and Lovers Lane Road on Milwaukee's north side early Friday after the body of a man was found sinside a parked car.

According to a WISN 12 report, authorities are investigating the death as a possible drug overdose -- although the official cause is still under investigation.
September 9 Shooting

Milwaukee Police were called to the 200 block of E. Burleigh Street around 12:10 a.m. on September 9 for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived to find a 32-year-old male suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot injury. The initial investigation reveals that the suspect knocked at the victim’s residential door. When the victim opened the door, the suspect shot the victim and fled the scene. The Milwaukee Fire Department treated the victim on the scene and transported him to a local hospital. MPD is seeking a motive and searching for suspect(s) in this case.
September 8 Shooting
Milwaukee police are also investigating a non-fatal shooting that happened around 11:00 p.m. on September 8 in the 4700 block of N. 51st Boulevard. A 34-year-old male was sitting in his vehicle when two suspects approached and fired multiple gunshots into the vehicle, striking the victim at least once. The Milwaukee Fire Department provided medical care for the victim and then conveyed him to a local hospital where he is being treated for a non-life threatening gunshot injury. MPD continues to seek a motive and search for suspect(s).
