Rash of Thefts From Vehicles Hit Shorewood This Weekend

A rash of thefts from parked vehicles has hit Shorewood in a little more than 24 hours this weekend. Police asking for the public's help.

SHOREWOOD -- A rash of thefts from parked vehicles has hit Shorewood in a little more than 24 hours this weekend.

The Shorewood Police responded to eight Criminal Damage to Property / Entry to Vehicle complaints, which occurred between October 15, 2016 (8:30p.m.) and October 16, 2016 (8:30a.m.)

All the vehicles had a window broken out to gain entry. The contents of some of the vehicle were rummaged through and property was stolen from one vehicle.

All the complaints were taken East of Oakland Ave. in the southeast sector.
