Report: 9-Year-Old Milwaukee Boy Shot by 6-Year-Old Half-Brother in Accident
The victim suffered a serious injury and was transported to a local hospital.

MILWAUKEE -- A 9-year-old Milwaukee boy suffered serious injury after he was reportedly shot on accident by his 6-year-old half-brother.
Milwaukee Police are investigating the incident, which was reported on Wednesday, September 21 around 3:50 p.m. in the 2700 block of N. 20th Street.
Milwaukee police say the 9-year old Milwaukee male, was shot by a juvenile family member while they were inside the family’s home. The victim suffered a serious injury and was transported to a local hospital.

According to a report from FOX 6, the six-year-old half-brother reportedly shot the nine-year-old in the back and neck areas. While journalists from FOX 6 were on the scene late on Wednesday evening, they reported that police removed a young child from the home, as an adult ran past the police perimeter, demanding to know where the boy was being taken. Later, investigators escorted a woman out of the home in handcuffs.
The investigation into how the gun was obtained by the juvenile is ongoing and investigators remain on the scene.
