Shorewood Man Responsible For 4-Vehicle Crash: Report
Authorities say the driver of a Mercedes SUV caused a 4-vehicle crash in Grafton, resulting in serious injuries.

OZAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Authorities in Ozaukee County say that a 28-year-old Shorewood man is responsible for a four-vehicle crash that resulted in serious injuries in Grafton.
On Saturday, June 30, at just before 5 p.m., the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s office say a deputy was on patrol and witnessed a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of N. Port Washington Road and Pioneer Road in the Town of Grafton.
Authorities say the driver of a Mercedes Sport Utility Vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed north on N. Port Washington Road and failed to stop for the red light at Pioneer Rd. The driver of the SUV has been identified as a 28-year-old man from Shorewood.

Authorities say the Mercedes SUV struck four vehicles as it sped through the intersection. The driver was transported via ambulance to Froedtert Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 34 year old Grafton man driving a GMC pick-up truck was transported via ambulance to the hospital and flown to Froedtert Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Three occupants of a Toyota Camry were transported to a local hospital as they suffered cuts from shattered glass. The occupants of this vehicle were identified as a 52-year-old woman, a 53-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman from Glendale.

A 63-year-old man from Cedarburg driving a Volvo was struck and did not suffer any injuries.
The 28-year-old man from Shorewood was arrested, and charges were forwarded to the Ozaukee County District Attorney’s Office for Operating While Intoxicated, Causing Injury by Intoxicated Use of a Motor Vehicle, Operating without a Valid License causing great bodily harm, 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety and citations issued for Operating without a Valid License and Violation of Traffic Control Signal.
