Shorewood Police Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect

SHOREWOOD -- Shorewood police are actively searching for a suspect after an early-morning armed robbery Thursday.
Early Thursday morning at about 3:50 a.m. a Shorewood resident was robbed at gunpoint while parking outside of 1600 E. River Park Ct.
The male victim was approached by an unknown subject in the parking lot; the suspect displayed a semi-automatic handgun and demanded the victim’s money.

The suspect obtained the victims money and then got in to a red minivan with no plates that was waiting, which fled eastbound on E. Edgewood Ave.

The suspect was described as a black male in his early 20’s, 5'09" to 5'10", medium build wearing a dark colored hoodie and jeans.
The victim had just returned home from Potawatomi Casino. No other details are available at this time and the incident is under investigation
