On Thursday, May 22, the District will be hosting an evening for mental health awareness beginning at 6 p.m. The event will include a mental health awareness fair, with booths from various mental health providers, professionals, and community organizations. At 7 p.m., the District will host a performance of the play Pieces- In My Own Voice in the SHS auditorium. The performance will be 35 minutes long, and a talkback session will be held afterwards. It is the District's hope that this production will provide another avenue for students, parents, staff, and community members to have a safe, open, and honest conversation about mental health.
