SHOREWOOD, WI β€” The Village of Shorewood is short on election inspectors and chief election inspectors, according to the most recent village newsletter.

People who can fill in a two-year term as a chief election inspector are especially needed. A term would start with the 2022 spring primary on February 15 and would last into 2023. Training is provided for election inspectors who issue ballots, register voters, monitor voting equipment and occasionally complete paperwork.

"Election Inspectors help ensure an open, accurate, and fair election," the village website reads.
