Shorewood Streets To Close For Bicycle Race

Street closures will begin at 12:30 pm on June 22 and will remain in place until conclusion of the final race.

SHOREWOOD, WI — On Thursday, June 22, 2017, the annual Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic will be held. This will result in several street closures along and within the race route.

Street closures will begin at 12:30 pm on June 22 and will remain in place until conclusion of the final race. (Approximately 9:00 p.m.)

The race start finish line is at the intersection of Oakland and Lake Bluff. The course will go south on Oakland to Wood Place, east on Wood to Maryland Ave., north on Maryland to Kensington Blvd and west on Kensington back to Oakland.

The only access point for vehicles entering and exiting the course area will be at the intersection of Lake Bluff and Maryland. Vehicles may safely cross the route here when permitted by police.Please plan ahead if you are within the impacted area as there will be delays.
