Shorewood Winter Parking Restrictions Lifted Through Jan. 1

People who park their vehicles on the street will not have to submit a request for overnight parking permission.

SHOREWOOD, WI -- The Village of Shorewood has suspended overnight parking enforcement for the holiday season.

Now through Sunday January 1, 2017, individuals who park their vehicles on the street will not have to submit a request for overnight parking permission, according to information published by the Shorewood Police Department.

Police officials say that people who park their vehicles on the street will still need to be parked in a legal parking spot and adhere to the posted signage in the area (i.e. winter parking restriction zones, alternate side parking, etc.).

Overnight parking enforcement will resume on Monday, January 2, 2017 starting at 3 a.m. Individuals utilizing street parking who do not have a parking permit will need to submit a request for overnight parking permission for that date.
