Shorewood Woman Accused of Stealing from Ex-Roommate
Suspect transferred money from the victim's credit card account to her Paypal account without his knowing.
A 50-year-old Shorewood woman is facing charges after she allegedly transferred money from her ex-roommate’s credit card to her Paypal account without his knowledge.
Mary L. Huntsinger was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of theft. If convicted, she faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines.

In 2011, Huntsinger was living with a man in the 2800 block of South 77th Street in West Allis when she allegedly transferred $500 from the victim’s Visa account to her Paypal account.
The man kicked her out of the home after finding some of his personal information in Huntsinger’s room and several months later discovered the money missing from his Visa account, while going over his records.

Huntsinger was interviewed by police in April and admitted to the theft. She’s currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail while awaiting trial.
