Shorewood Woman Arrested For OWI, Having Child in Car
A 38-year-old Shorewood woman was arrested for drunk driving with an underage person in the car on the evening of Sep. 8, police say.
WHITEFISH BAY, WI — A 38-year-old Shorewood woman was arrested for drunk driving with an underage person in the car on the evening of Sep. 8, according to police.
Shorewood police intitiated a traffic stop on the driver of a white Acura on the 800 block of E. Silver Spring drive on an apparent speeding violation.
When the officer made contact with the driver, Allison Engel, 38, of Shorewood, she was taken into custody for OWI-1st with a person under 16 years of age in the vehicle, according to a Whitefish Bay police report document.

She was taken to the Whitefish Bay police department for processing, where an intoximeter test result recorded a 0.12 blood alcohol concentration. She was later released to a responsible party, according to police reports.
