Spring Break at the Kohl's Art Generation Studio!

The Kohl's Art Generation Studio at the Milwaukee Art Museum is a place for fun, interactive learning helping kids gain appreciation for art

Spring break is just around the corner, and parents and kids alike are itching for ways to get out of the house. But if weather ruins your outdoor plans (like only Wisconsin can!) or you’re tired of the same old activities, the Milwaukee Art Museum has the perfect solution: the Kohl’s Art Generation Studio.

The Kohl’s Art Generation Studio is open every day the Museum is open: Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., with special projects just for spring break from April 3 through April 12.

Discover fun-filled techniques for turning flat materials into dimensional masterpieces, looking to the garments in the Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair exhibition for ideas. Participants will learn how to cut, shape, and collage fabric into artful ensembles. Families can then design their very own storefront window to show off their creation!
