St. Patrick's Day 2018 Milwaukee: Your Guide To Events, Specials

2018 St. Patrick's Day is this Saturday, March 17. Here's your guide to specials, beer, live music, family activities and parades!

MILWAUKEE, WI — Saturday, March 17, 2018 is the Irish's big day — the day everyone pretends they are full o' blarney. Waking up and wondering where you can down that first green beer or corned beef sandwich? Check out the Patch Picks list of five places or events to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in the greater Milwaukee area and southeast Wisconsin communities:

Milwaukee/Wauwatosa: Mo’s Irish Pub St. Patrick’s Day Party is taking place at their Milwaukee and Wauwatosa locations. The party starts at 6 a.m. and goes well into the evening.

Milwaukee/Wauwatosa area: St. Patrick’s Day at Kelly’s Bleachers starts off with a breakfast from 7 to 8 a.m. There will be green beer, and other assorted St. Paddy's day festivities.

Waukesha: On March 17th House Of Guinness will open at 6am. There will be an outdoor tented beer garden 9am-9pm. Local band Dublin O'Shea will be playing music throughout the day and the Trinity Irish Dancers will also be making an appearance at 7:30pm. We will have a food vendor on hand if people wish to eat and $6 Irish Coffees.

Bay View (Milwaukee South): End of the Rainbow Pub Crawl in Bay View (a.k.a. the part of Milwaukee just north of the South Shore suburban communities) is hosting a pub crawl involving such venues as Dale Z's, Straight Shots, Lee's Luxury Lanes, The Backyard and Sam's Tap. The event is festive and starts at 1 p.m. You could even win a $125 bar tab.

Racine: The 12th annual Downtown Racine St. Patrick’s Day Parade, presented by the Downtown Racine Corporation, is set for Saturday, March 17th. It will be a day filled with Irish fun for the whole family. Plan to come early and stay late. You won’t want to miss the parade, great food and delicious Irish beverages we have waiting for you. The 12th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will kick off in Downtown Racine at high noon. Starting at State and Main Street, the parade will proceed south down Main and turn west onto Sixth Street and end at City Hall.

Racine: In Racine, try some traditional Irish fair at Ivanhoe Pub, including their famous Corned Beef and Cabbage, $5 pints of Guinness, Smithwick’s, Kilkenny and Guinness Blonde. Open at 8:00 am serving up Irish breakfast a well!

Racine: In Racine, can’t choose between March Madness and St. Patty’s Day? You don’t have to at Dewey’s Restaurant and Sports Bar, you can do both with big windows over-looking Main and 6th streets and 11 big screen TV’s! Open at 11:00 am. Enjoy $3 Jameson shot, $2 fireball shots and $10 domestic beer buckets.

Delafield: The Delafield Brewhaus will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day all day with corned beef and cabbage and Irish Stew.

Milwaukee Lower East Side: The Nomad World Pub and Club Brady are throwing another street party for St. Paddy's Day! They are shutting down part of Warren Ave. on Milwaukee's lower east side for St. Paddy's festivities from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Nomad will be serving shaved corned beef, sauerkraut, spicy brown mustard and caraway rye starting at 7am for a $5 donation!Join us outside in the heated tent starting at 11am!Live music by Dan Harvey from 2:30-5:30 p.m. DJ Paul H from 6-11 p.m. Iron Grate Bbq Co. will be sup tasty eats! Jameson and PBR will be flowing!

Milwaukee Downtown: Trinity Three Irish Pubs, The Harp Irish Pub in Milwaukee will feature live music on two stages starting at 11 a.m. with Irish pub favorites served hot all day. Trinity, 125 E. Juneau Ave., and The Harp, 113 E. Juneau open bright 'n early at 6 a.m.

Brookfield: Biloba Brewing Co in Brookfield is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Party on March 17 from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Milwaukee Downtown: The Milwaukee Public Museum's Irish Dance Lessons starts at 1 p.m. with a performance by the Trinity Academy of Irish Dance and dance lessons afterward. The event is free with museum admission.

Shorewood: Shorewood Shenanigan’s Block Party will close Oakland Avenue at Kensington Square, in front of Three Lions Pub, and turn it into a Paddy's Day extravaganza. Outdoor food, drink and seating will be available. There will be outdoor live music from 12:30pm - 5:00pm along with entertainment such as Irish Dancers, Jameson tasting stations, and community sports club activity areas. Beer, cocktails and mixers will be flowing, and traditional Irish fare will be featured throughout the day, being served both inside the Three Lions Pub and outside during the block party. North Star American Bistro and Thief Wine will add to the day’s selection. The Milwaukee Brat House, Shorewood, will provide a shuttle up and down Oakland Ave. with stopping points by Cloud Red, Draft & Vessel, between the Milwaukee Brat House and Camp Bar, and in Harry’s Bar & Grill parking lot – a perfect Uber Hotspot. While out-and-about, grab a passport, check out the specials and enter to win amazing prizes.

Milwaukee Downtown: Have you ever had a traditional Irish Breakfast at County Clare? It begins at 6 a.m. on St. Patrick's Day. Stick around, they'll feature festivities and classic Irish performances all day until 10 p.m.
