Suspect Displays Semi-Automatic Firearm in Shorewood Armed Robbery Sunday Night

SHOREWOOD -- Shorewood Police are searching for the suspects responsible for stealing a car on Sunday night.

On November 13, 2016, at 6:02 pm, the Shorewood Police Department responded to an armed robbery/carjacking in the 4100 Block of N Woodburn St.

Three male suspects, one of whom displayed a semiautomatic handgun, stole a vehicle at gunpoint and fled the area in an older model SUV that had damage to the front grill of the vehicle.

The suspect vehicle and the stolen vehicle, a gray Ford Fusion, were last seen heading west on Capitol Drive.

No other details are available at this time and the incident is under investigation.
