Top 5 CVS Deals, Philosophy Body Wash 1/2 Off, Cute Gifts for Cheap, Free Iced Tea

In an effort to start this Friday's column out on a fun step (and outdo last week's amazingly brilliant and complex joke) I searched high and low for fun, famous Friday quotes.

Guess what?

Alright, now that we got that out of the way, let's talk about deals at CVS.

CVS is pretty straight forward with their coupon policy, it's basics and no frills or spills. They also have a rewards system similar to Walgreens' Register Rewards where they give you coupons at the end of your receipt which can be used like cash at their stores after you purchase specific products. At CVS it's called "Extra Care Bucks" and it is amazing. They don't have restrictions on their ECB's so you can use them on any product, including those which initially produced the ECB's. It's a fave in the ol' saving arsenal. 

Heads up, you do need an Extra Care card to snag all their sale prices and Extra Care Bucks but it's free, quick and painless to sign up.

Without further ado....on to five great deals you can find at your local CVS:

1. Buy 1 Excedrin Extra Strength, PM or Migraine (8 ct.) for 99 cents and get 99 cents Extra Care Bucks (Limit 2 deals per Extra Care card) 

• No coupons needed

Final cost: Free after ECBs!                                                                               

2. Buy 5 Vitaminwater for $5 and Get $2 in Extra Care Bucks (Limit 1 deal per Extra Care card) 

• Use this $1 off of 5 coupon

Final cost: $2 for 5 bottles or 40 cents each                                                                                

3. Buy 1 Huggies Jumbo Pack Diapers, GoodNites or Pull-Ups for $8.99 and Get $2 in Extra Care Bucks (Limit 1 deal per Extra Care Card)                                                            

• Use the $2 off printable 'pon here

Final cost: $4.99 after ECBs

4. Spend $15 on Select Dove, Caress, or Lever Products (on sale for $5 each) and get $5 in Extra Care Bucks (Limit 1 deal per Extra Care Card)

5. Spend $10 in L'Oreal Lip or Eye cosmetics and get $3 in Extra Care Bucks

• Prices vary, but be sure to use any coupons you have from past Sunday papers
• Also, a couple of these $1 off any product coupons
• Scan your Extra Care card at the store's coupon machine. This week a $3 off of any $10 cosmetic purchase is printing! Use that in the mix for even more savings!
