The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, the Village of Shorewood and the City of Milwaukee are working together to reduce the residential basement backups from the combined sewer system. The project team has developed a plan for a sewer extension along Edgewood Avenue that will be constructed in the near future.A virtual public meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 13 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. with the selected contractor. A question and answer session will immediately follow the presentation.
