Yo Mama Frozen Yogurt Opens Today

Shorewood will join the frozen yogurt craze in the greater Milwaukee area Thursday when Yo Mama yogurt opens its doors on North Oakland Avenue. 

The frozen yogurt shop at 4525 N. Oakland Ave. will dish up six self-serve frozen yogurts with several topping options. With Alterra across the street, Yo Mama won't serve bakery but will stock packaged treats for sale. 

Additionally, the shop will have an outdoor drinking fountain for dogs, which will fill when a button is pushed and drain shortly after to ensure a fresh drink for the next dog. 

Yo Mama's hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Phone the store at 414-763-5296. 

Yo Mama is the final retail piece of the Ravenna development, Yo Mama frozen yogurt. It will join Indulgence Chocolatiers, Elements East and Performance Running Outfitters in the Ravenna and mark the chain's third shop in the Milwaukee area.
