1 Killed In Fiery Head-On Crash On Townline Road In Lisbon: Sheriff
A passenger was killed and a driver was carried by flight for life after a head-on crash in Waukesha County on Wednesday, authorities said.
LISBON, WI — A head-on crash on Townline Road in Lisbon Wednesday morning ended with a death and a flight for life, according to authorities.
The initial investigation showed that a vehicle with two people inside crossed into the oncoming southbound lane of Townline Road before crashing into another car near Schlei Road, according to a news release from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office. Reports of the crash came in around 11:30 a.m. that day saying there was a vehicle overturned and on fire.
The passenger in the northbound vehicle was killed in the crash while a flight for life brought the driver who suffered serious injuries to Froedtert in Wauwatosa, authorities said. The driver of the southbound vehicle was brought to Froedtert in Menomonee Falls with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Menomonee Falls Fire Department and Lisbon Fire Department worked together to extricate the occupants of both vehicles, authorities said. The crash caused a closure on Townline Road for over 4 hours, authorities said.
