• Washington County officials investigate fatal crash Sunday (kfiz.com) — A 72-year-old Sussex resident was involved in a serious two-vehicle crash Sunday morning at Hillside and Pioneer roads in Richfield, where an 83-year-old Town of Polk driver later died from injuries. Washington County officials say the Polk driver failed to see the Sussex resident's eastbound vehicle, and the intersection was closed for about three hours during the investigation.
