Deputy Fire Chief Honored for Years of Service

To honor the retirement of Deputy Fire Chief Cathy Selerski, Village President Greg Goetz issued an official proclamation Tuesday for her years of service in the village.

Gotez handed out the proclamation during a short ceremony at the beginning of the Village Board meeting.

Selerski, who has worked for the Fire Department since 1982 and has been deputy fire chief since 1997, thanked the board for the proclamation for her work.

Goetz said Selerski has been a very crucial leader in helping the department move forward and is a valuable asset to the community.
