District To Break Ground on $57 Million School

Hamilton School District is breaking ground on several referendum projects.

SUSSEX, WI - From Hamilton School District: The groundbreaking ceremony for a new intermediate school in the Hamilton School District and Hamilton High School renovation and expansion projects has been set for April 16 at 5:30 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the site of the new intermediate school located at N58W22350 Silver Spring Dr., Sussex.

The agenda includes performance of “The National Anthem,” comments from school district officials and community members, and ceremonious groundbreaking with shovels.Nearly 62 percent of district voters approved $57.4 million of school construction Feb. 20 that included a new intermediate school, expansion and renovation of the Applied Engineering and Technology Program and a 15-classroom high school addition.

Parents, school and community officials, and representatives from the companies that will work on the project will be at the special event.
