Fitness Boot Camp Ready to Make a Move
Business has been good for Rock 'N Body Boot Camps in Sussex as business seeks new, expanded location on Main Street.
The Sussex Plan Commission on Thursday will consider a request by the Rock ‘N Body Boot Camps physical fitness center to move to a new location on Main Street in April.
Right now, the business rents space from at N64W24678 Main St., but it needs more space to keep pace with customer demand.
“The only reason we’re looking to move is because we are expanding,” said Rock ‘N Body Boot Camps co-owner Erin Naatz. “We’ve grown so much over the last year-and-a half that we need to have more space and more time. Business is growing and that’s a good thing.”

Ironically, if the commission approves the request, Rock ‘N Body Boot Camps will move into the former Curves location, about 2,000 square feet, in the Sussex Plaza at N64W22622 Main St.
“We have several fitness locations in Sussex,” said Village Administrator Jeremy Smith. “There’s plenty of room for all of them and it’s a free marketplace.”

Naatz agreed the Sussex area offers plenty of customers for the fitness business.
“Everybody needs fitness,” said Naatz. “We’re very different from places like Curves or Anytime Fitness. It’s more along the lines of group personal training versus going one-on-one with a personal trainer, although we do offer that service.”
Rock ‘N Body Boot Camps, which opened its doors in Sussex in 2009, offers group personal training with nationally accredited certified coaches. The classes are designed for people in all fitness levels including beginner, intermediate and advanced.
The Plan Commission meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday on the lower level of , N64W23760 Main St.
