GMAC Golf Outing Raises $17,000 for Charity in 2015, Tops $100,000 in Total Donations
Grounds Maintenance Services, ActionCOACH of Elm Grove lead another highly-successful event for great causes
Brookfield, Wis. – The 2015 GMAC Golf Outing raised $17,000 for two charities, bringing the event’s total charitable donations to more than $100,000 over the past 10 years.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin will each receive $8,500 from this year’s outing, a testament to the dedication and generosity of more than 210 people who golfed, socialized and competed Aug. 21 at Ironwood Golf Course.
The tenth annual event was again co-hosted by Grounds Maintenance Services and ActionCOACH of Elm Grove. Money was raised from sponsorships, entry fees, live and silent auction items, and different contests and games.

“We are, yet again, appreciative and humbled by the tremendous generosity and support for this annual outing,” said Todd Ruedt, owner of Grounds Maintenance Services. “Looking back on 10 successful years, we cannot thank enough all those who have played, sponsored, donated or volunteered to ensure that we support great causes, and have a lot of fun in the process.”
Next year’s outing, which starts the event’s second decade, is Aug. 19, 2016, at Ironwood Golf Course, W270-N6166 Moraine Drive, Sussex. A multitude of event sponsorships will be available for businesses and organizations. Silent auction items are welcomed.

Grounds Maintenance Services has received national recognition for its community involvement, especially involving education. Ruedt, a Brookfield native, has more than 30 years’ experience in landscaping and lawn maintenance. His company has a long record of supporting organizations dedicated to improving the Brookfield community.
