A Pewaukee man is facing his fourth operating while intoxicated charge after he was pulled over driving from Sussex to the Town of Delafield.

According to the criminal complaint, Robert D. Pierson, 60, was pulled over at 10:41 p.m. Monday in the town after a Waukesha County sheriff’s deputy spotted him driving 63 mph in a 45 mph zone near North Shore Drive and Maple.

Pierson told the deputy he had come from Sussex and had a few drinks before driving. He then tried to get out of the car to perform a field sobriety test, but lost his balance and fell over.
