Suspect, 32, took his friend's roommate's car and then returns it, but keeps other stolen items.

A Pewaukee man is facing charges after he allegedly stole a car, cell phone and money while it was parked outside a Sussex apartment complex.

According to the criminal complaint filed Monday in Waukesha County Circuit Court:

On Aug. 9, Bryon D. Kimpel, 32, took the car, cell phone and $260 from a friend’s roommate after the victim had told him to leave her residence in the N6000 block of Waukesha Avenue. She then took a nap and woke up later to find the items missing.
