Residents Can Place Branches At Curbside Sunday

Branches less than 5 inches in diameter will be picked up by the village's Operations Department.

Residents can place their brush at their curbside Sunday as the village plans to collect curbside brush for 11 days in September.

From Sept. 17 to 28, the Sussex Operations Department will pick up branches that are less than 5 inches in diameter. The village has set no limit to the length of the branches.

Residents are asked not to place dimensional lumber or root balls at their curb because it will not be collect.

Branches do not have to be bundled or in containers and no stickers or recycling passes are needed. The village requests all cut branch ends be pointing towards the road.

The operations department will make only one pass by each residence.
