A first Benvenuto denied taking the movies when asked by his cousin, but when asked by another acquaintance, he told him he took the DVDs to Milwaukee to a friend named Weezie who then help sell the discs. He then admitted to taking 300 of the movies in order to sell them and use the money to buy cigarettes, gas and to take a trip up north.
