Man who had been drinking heavily at Su Casa and is pulled over, decides to head home after being pulled over by a deputy.

A 31-year-old Sussex man is facing charges after he drove off from an officer after a night of heavy drinking at Su Casa.

According to the criminal complaint, at 3:24 a.m. Sunday, a Waukesha County sheriff’s deputy spotted Juan Pablo Mendoza Angel travelling on Highway 74 and swerving across the lanes several times. The officer pulled him over at which time Mendoza Angel told him he had been drinking at Su Casa and was heading home.

When the officer went back to his squad car, Mendoza Angel then took off, driving 0.7 miles down the road to the Clover Apartments where he lives, pulling into a parking stall.
