Templeton Band Members Honored At State

SUSSEX, WI — Two Templeton Middle School Band members competed April 29 in the state-level Wisconsin State Music Association Solo and Ensemble Festival held on the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee campus.

Ashley Velasquez, clarinet solo, and Cynthia Yan, flute solo, earned the highest rating of 1 at state competition. Yan also received a nomination as exemplary soloist. More than 1,200 students participated in the competition.

David Neubauer is the Templeton Middle School director of instrumental music.
