Village Board to Discuss Mutual Aid Agreement, Developer Contract
Village trustees will decide if they wish to continue in mutual aid agreement with surrounding communities

The Sussex Village Board will decide if it wants to renew the mutual aid contract it has with other Waukesha County communities at its meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Village Hall, N64W23760 Main St.
The mutual aid agreement, which according to board documents has been in place since 2007, provides an agreement for community emergency service personnel to help surrounding communities during larger emergencies. If approved, the measure won’t nullify other regional aid contracts.
The board will also discuss and vote on a proposal to amend the developer’s agreement with the Brandon Oaks project water main loop completion.

If approved, the amendment will end the developer’s agreement Nov. 1 for all improvements in the agreement other than the Plan 4 water main improvement and water main loop. Once the water main loop project is completed, the amount of the letter of credit may be reduced.
