Village Provides Voter Registration, Absentee Ballot Information

Forms and information can be found on village's and state's Web sites.

In five weeks, Sussex voters will join the rest of the country in what is being called one of the the most important elections in our nation's history.  

But to be able to cast a ballot, you need to be a registered voter. To register to vote, you can go to Village Hall and fill out a form. You will need proof of residence, such as a driver license or a tax bill to register. 

You can also mail in the form, if you have previously been registered to vote in the state. The form can be found here

If you need to vote before election day, absentee voting will be available at Village Hall from Oct. 22 to Nov. 2. An absentee ballot application can be found here

No absentee voting or voter registration is permitted in the village on Monday, Nov. 5.

Village Hall is open from 8 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
