What Are the Holiday Hours?

Many Village of Sussex departments and buildings will be closed in observance of the holidays. 

The Sussex Village Hall will be closed Friday, Dec. 24 and Monday, Jan. 3. Village Hall will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 27 and Friday, Dec. 31 but only for tax payments. All other departments will be closed on those two days. 

Village Hall will be open for regular business from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday, Dec. 28 to Thursday, Dec. 30. 

The Sussex Community Center will be closed from Friday, Dec. 24 to Monday, Dec. 27 and again from Friday, Dec. 31 to Monday, Jan. 3. 

The Pauline Haass Public Library will be closed from Friday, Dec. 24 to Sunday, Dec. 26. The library will also be closed on Saturday, Jan. 1. 

Garbage and recycling service will not change due to the holidays. 

Christmas trees will be picked up between Tuesday, Jan. 4 and Monday, Jan. 24. The village asks that residents to place the tree at their curb for pick up.

Residents should remove all decorations and not put the tree in a bag.
