2019 Waukesha Christmas Tree Disposal Guide
Christmas tree pickup will begin in January, Waukesha officials say. Here are the guidelines:

WAUKESHA, WI -- It still may be awhile before you're ready to dispose of your real Christmas tree this holiday season, though you'll be able to dispose of it starting in January, the Waukesha Department of Public Works says.
There is not a set route schedule, though crews will pick them up as they see them. And, the pickup schedule depends on time and other circumstances – plowing and other projects may take priority, DPW officials say.
Here are the 2019 Waukesha Christmas tree pickup rules:

1) Residents may set out real holiday trees only: Absolutely no wreaths, artificial trees should be included with the set out. Those items may be put in with the regular trash for
the garbage collection.
2) Trees must be free of lighting, decorations, tree stands or any other objects.
3) Trees should not be in bags, twine or netting.
Drop-Off Center: Residents may also bring their trees to the Drop-Off Center at 750 Sentry Drive during open public hours and Saturdays from 8 a.m .to 4 p.m for no charge during the month of January.
