3 New Panda Express Restaurants Planned for Waukesha County
Two new Panda Express restaurants are planned for Waukesha - and now one likely on Bluemound Road in the Town of Brookfield.

WAUKESHA COUNTY — The owners of the Panda Express food chain are reportedly working with Waukesha County municipalities to construct three new restaurants in the county before too long.
CFT NV Developments, the owners of the Panda Express restaurant chain, is looking to add a new restaurant on Bluemound Road in the Town of Brookfield, According to Town of Brookfield documents, the Town is recommending approval of a conditional use permit and conceptual approval for a 2,620 sq. ft. drive-through restaurant at 18200 W. Bluemound Rd.
According to a report from the Waukesha Freeman from December, CFT NV Developments is seeking to construct a 2,572-square-foot Panda Express at Sunset Drive and Tenny Avenue, near the Meijer store. Store number three would be yet another Panda Express - this time on Silvernail Road near Grandview Blvd.

Not the First Time
It appears that the owners of Panda Express are putting on a full-court press to expand into Waukesha County municipalities. About two weeks after iconic Waukesha-area restaurant Weissgerber's Gasthaus closed its doors in Summer 2016, plans to raze the building and build a strip mall in its place - containing a Panda Express - were denied approval by the Waukesha Plan Commission.
