• Waukesha apartment fire leaves eight people displaced (jsonline.com) — Eight residents were displaced after a Labor Day apartment fire on Haymarket Road in the City of Waukesha, where firefighters quickly contained flames to one unit and the attic but left all four units damaged. No injuries were reported, and officials credit working smoke detectors while urging residents to check alarms and safely discard smoking materials as the Red Cross helps those affected.
