Apparent anti-LGBT Protest Outside Church in Waukesha Deemed 'Peaceful'

A protester shouting through a bull horn and another with a sign were there as church let out on Sunday.

WAUKESHA -- Police determined that an apparent anti-LGBT protest outside a church was peaceful and reported no problems Sunday.

According to reports, police responded to Christ the Servant Lutheran Church after an all-ages church service let out on Sunday morning.

Police say a man on a bull horn was yelling at people leaving the church on the 2000 block of Center Road in Waukesha on Sunday just before noon.

The caller who reported the incident said they were unsure what the subject is saying but he seems to be upset and making anti-LGBT remarks.


Police made contact with two white males, one with blue jeans and a blow horn and another wearing a grey shirt and carrying a sign. Police say the two men were protesting peacefully and reported no problems.
