Assault Suspect Arrested Near Speedway

Waukesha police were dispatched to an apartment on the 1300 block of Camden Way just before 6 p.m. on Sunday on a report of a domestic disturbance.
According to police reports, a female who called 911 stated that she was physically assaulted by a male who was his daughter's boyfriend.
The man was described as an approximately 30-year-old man about five-foot-ten and about 150 pounds. He was further described as wearing a black and white flannel shirt.
The report indicated that the female called police near the Speedway and that the man was in the area.
By 6:30 p.m. the man was located and taken into custody by police.

Transit Center Drinker Transported to Detox

Waukesha police were called to the Metro Transit Center just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday on a report that two men were intoxicated and hanging out on the property.
When police arrived, one of the men was removed from the property, and the second man was transported to the Waukesha Memorial Hospital for detox. No open intoxicants were located on either man during police investigation, according to the report.
