Blizzard Brawl 11 Coming Saturday

This Saturday at the Waukesha County Expo Center, Blizzard Brawl will again prove why it's the biggest wrestling show of the year in WI

The Waukesha weather forecast for Saturday calls for temperatures near 50 on a beautiful sunny day. At night though, in the Waukesha County Expo Center, forecasts call for a blizzard...a Blizzard Brawl.

Every year, I make the short trip across the Wisconsin border from Chicago for this great event. Blizzard Brawl 11 promises to be the biggest and best yet.

The card is stacked as usual. ECW original Tommy Dreamer is facing GLCW champ Al Snow. GLCW Women’s champ Melanie Cruise defends her title against Katie Forbes. Sadist will battle Ruff Crossing managed by Armando Estrada.

In a highly anticipated match, GLCW owner (and #SuperFriend) David Herro will step in the ring to take on the monster Abyss. This match can go in many directions, but all of them lead to entertainment for the fans. This might steal the show.

Other matches will be announced later, but there is a lot of other great stuff outside of the ring. Chyna will be making a rare appearance. Other wrestling superstars scheduled to be appearing include former WWE superstars Scotty 2 Hotty, The Boogeyman, The Headbangers, Zach Gowen, Kevin Thorn and Curt Hawkins. Additionally, Jay Bradley, Chazz Moretti, Haystacks Ed Ross, Danny Dominion, Nick Cutler, Xavier Mustafa and more will be there.

That still isn’t the end of the fun. Booker T will be getting a Lifetime Achievement Award (sponsored by Pro Wrestling Blitz). We might even see a spinaroonie (no promises, but we can hope).

A collection of wrestling superstars like this is rare. Even rarer is the opportunity to meet them all at a family-friendly admission cost of $15 (for General Admission).

Blizzard Brawl is a “can’t miss” on my yearly calendar because it is a night of jam-packed entertainment. The folks at GLCW make every effort to give every fan a great experience.

I am looking forward to seeing many of my old friends (in and out of the ring) and making new friends. Blizzard Brawl is really just one big wrestling party.

For more information, go to Blizzard Brawl’s site or the Blizzard Brawl 11 Facebook page. Tickets are selling fast. I’ve got mine. Wear your SuperFriends shirt (or buy one there) and let’s have some fun!
