Casa del Rio is Officially Back In Waukesha
Popular Waukesha Mexican restaurant Casa del Rio is back and has a weekend of festivities lined up.

WAUKESHA, WI — Popular Waukesha Mexican restaurant Casa del Rio is back, and has a weekend of "grand opening" festivities lined up. Casa del Rio is located at 408 E. Main St.
According to GMToday, here are this weekend's events:
Friday: Sauza girls will sample Hornitos Cristiliano from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday: The Cuervo girls will be sampling premium traditional margaritas from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday: There will be samples of Eppa Sangria, an organic version of the drink, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Mexican cuisine lovers are getting a jolt of positive energy after Casa Del Rio, a local favorite for many years, announced earlier this year that they were returning to Waukesha.
According to a Waukesha Freeman report earlier this year, a new Casa Del Rio was coming back - with most of what customers enjoyed over the years.

According to a report by Waukesha NOW, owners of Casa Ole Mexican restaurant closed at the end of 2016. The restaurant's lease was up at the end of the December, so the eatery was shut down, Waukesha NOW has learned. But that closing proved to be temporary as a local favorite waits in the wings.
