Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke: White America Needs to Stand Up to the Likes of 'Black Lives Matter'
Clarke Set to Speak at GOP Convention says movement takes advantage of the suffering of black Americans to achieve own political goals.

MILWAUKEE - Two things about Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke have been reported in the media:
1) Clarke is set to speak at the GOP National Convention on Monday during the convention's "Make America Safe Again" theme.
2) Clarke, an opponent of the Black Lives Matter movement, says people use Black Lives Matter in order to take advantage of the suffering of black Americans in order to achieve their own political goals.

Clarke is gaining notoriety for his anti-Black Lives Matter perspective, calling out the very people who capitalize on the Black Lives Matter movement for their own gains, he said.
"They are means to an end, and they use the black population as sacrifices for their goals,"Clarke said in an Fox News Op-Ed."When black celebrities like Beyoncé jump on board I can only wonder what their goals are – more ticket sales? An easy pass from the liberals who control their contracts? It certainly is not to help their community."

CNN's Don Lemon conducted a live interview with Clarke Sunday night after a police shooting in Baton Rouge that left three officers dead and three more wounded.
"This anti-police rhetoric sweeping the country has turned out some hateful things inside of people that are now playing themselves out on the American police officer," according to reports from the International Business Times. "I want to know with all of the black on black violence in the United States of America, by the way, when the tragedies happened in Louisiana and Minnesota, do you know that 21 black people were murdered across the United States? Was there any reporting on it?"
Clarke continues in his Fox News Op-Ed, saying that people need to stand by the side of law enforcement as the only semblance of hope and justice in the crime-ridden inner cities.
"White America needs to be brave, they need to stand up against this latest attack on the Black community by the likes of Black Lives Matter – to be unafraid to face the condemnation of the powerful but morally reprehensible liberal elites and mainstream media pushing these lies," he said in the Fox News Op-Ed.
