AllWriters' 7th Birthday & The Friday Night Free For All!

AllWriters’ celebrates 7 years with the first 2012 Friday
Night Free For All!

WAUKESHA – In January of 2005, AllWriters’ Workplace
& Workshop held its grand opening in the middle of a blizzard.  Not an auspicious beginning, but we’ve
lasted.  Seven years strong!  On Friday, January 6, 2012, AllWriters’ will celebrate with the first of its 2012 Friday Night Free For All series.

The Friday Night Free For All will take place four times
every year: the first Friday in January, April, July and October.  Each event will begin at 7:00 p.m., with
doors opening at 6:00 p.m. and will feature a poet, memoirist, short story writer, and novelist.  Director Kathie
Giorgio will also read, and will be joined either by a faculty member or a special guest writer.  The events will
always take place at AllWriters’, 234 Brook St., Unit 2, Waukesha.

This special 7th Birthday Edition of the
Friday Night Free For All will feature AllWriters’ students, Katy Phillips (poetry), Jim Landwehr (memoir), Carrie Ryman (short story) and Deb Tetzlaff (novel).  Faculty member Michael Giorgio will be the guest reader.  Director
Kathie Giorgio, author of novel, “The Home For Wayward Clocks,” and the soon to be released short story collection, “Enlarged Hearts,” will be reading as well.

This event is free and open to the public.  Refreshments will be served. No registration is required.
