ProHealth Care’s West Wood Health & Fitness Center introduces a new exercise program for cancer survivors called Beat Cancer Boot Camp from 6 – 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 20 through August 8, at 2900 Golf Road, Pewaukee.
The eight-session exercise program is designed to empower and inspire cancer survivors to take charge of their lives. The group sessions will include a variety of exercises designed to be effective and challenging for all fitness levels and help cancer patients move through various stages of treatment and recovery. Participants will build strength and stamina to help overcome obstacles to recovery, develop a mental edge and improve self-esteem.
Beat Cancer Boot Camp is not just for survivors. It’s also beneficial for spouses, family members, friends and anyone who wants to join the battle against cancer.

The program will start with a kick-off event from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 2. Register online at www.westwoodfitness.org. Cost of the program is $25.
