Free Quilts Available For Veterans In Honor Of Memorial Day
The City is accepting nominations for any Veteran or Service Member to receive a free quilt at Frame Park at the end of May.

The City of Waukesha Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department (WPRF) announces Quilts of Valor is accepting nominations for any Veteran or Service Member to receive a free quilt at Frame Park during the visit of The Moving Wall at the end of May. The mission of Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover Service Members and Veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.

βThe Moving Wall,β the nationally traveling half-sized replica of The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. will stop in Waukesha, Thurs., May 27, 2021 at noon through Tue., June 1 at 6:00 a.m. in Frame Park, 1150 Frame Park Dr., Waukesha. In addition to βThe Moving Wall,β βThe Field of Honorβ will also be presented.
